Building material is one of the largest positions in the German mass flow balance. It seems likely not only to recycle building material but – if possible – to reuse it.

Description
Reusable building material should be gathered and recycled during knock down and renovation works in the Aachen region. Afterwards this building material should be sold. This pilot project was based on the model of the Swiss network of building components which is successful in marketing used building components at several sites for many years.
