Background
Water, soil, air. Extra-curricular ecological knowledge. The receipt of an eco-diploma shall motivate children to investigate and reflect environmental subjects.

Target Group
Pupils of class 3 and 4 in basic schools in the region Aachen-Heinsberg-Düren as well as Cologne-Düsseldorf-Mönchengladbach-Krefeld. 30,000 children have participated until today.

Description
The first eco-diploma was started in 1998. A playful workbook for children with tasks and experiments. Substantial material for the teacher and a hotline with educational expert support complete this project. In 2008, the workbook has been updated with information on resources and and CO2 and internet tasks.
